In simplistic terms, a Domain (Website Name) is your physical address on the internet, i.e. a logical name that typically relates to your business name and or services provided. As a result, without an officially registered Domain name, your site cannot exist.

An Email Account is a totally separate system and refers to an Email hosting service that is totally independent of the Domain Name registration and server.

I Have a Domain:
If you have a Domain, please provide SellOnLine with the Domain Name and corresponding URL if you have an existing website that is being replaced. As we start to build your website, SellOnLine shall provide you with the details of the server IP for your team to modify the DNS setup to point to the Hosting Server when ready for Validation and Launch.

In the event that your staff are unfamiliar with DNS settings, please provide SellOnLine with the Domain Name provider and access details. SellOnLine can make the required modifications to your DNS to connect the domain with the new site.

I Don’t Have a Domain:
In the event that you do not have a Domain, please provide SellOnLIne details of your preferred domain name including if you have a preference for a “.com”, “.country code” etc. The SellOnLine Team shall investigate if the domain name is available, the registration site and related cost of ownership.

Please note that all domains must be registered through an accredited body. SellOnLine use GoDaddy as the largest domain name provider globally to validate and register domains. Once the domain name is identified, you will be requested to set up an account on GoDaddy, pay for the domain registration (falls outside the price of the site build fee) and on completion provide SellOnLine with the account login details such that our Team can set up your web and if required email service pointers.

I Don’t Have a Company Email:
Should you currently be using a Gmail, yahoo or similar generic email for your business, SellOnLine can assess your needs and make a recommendation of which third-party email provider service to use.

Please note that the monthly hosting fee does not include managing the email service provider administrative platforms (although they are quite easy to administer)
